What is SCALIS?
SCALIS is a comprehensive system for automated industrial weighing, vehicle traffic control, material flow monitoring, and digital processing of operational data. It integrates scales, automated machines, cameras, barriers, traffic lights, RFID, QR codes, PIN identification, the cloud, and enterprise systems into a single functional unit.
In practice, SCALIS ensures that every weighing is not just a number on the scale, but a complete digital record. For each weight measurement, it associates the vehicle, driver, customer, material, order, facility, time, photos, weigh ticket, and other data necessary for inspection, invoicing, inventory management, or management reporting.
The system is designed for companies that need to weigh quickly, accurately, and consistently, with minimal manual data entry. It is used in quarries, gravel pits, concrete plants, recycling yards, waste-to-energy facilities, agriculture, logistics and industrial sites, manufacturing plants, and companies with multiple locations.
What SCALIS Does
SCALIS addresses the day-to-day challenges of industrial operations where weighing is linked to transportation, loading, unloading, material tracking, and administrative tasks. It eliminates manual data entry, unclear weigh slips, incomplete records, vehicle delays at the entrance, errors in material selection, poor control of movement on the premises, and an insufficient overview of what is actually happening at the facility.
Instead of a standalone scale, SCALIS creates a digital process. The vehicle is identified, the system checks the order or customer, grants access, performs the weighing, directs the vehicle to the correct location, saves photos, calculates the net weight, generates a weigh ticket, and forwards the data to the reporting or enterprise system.
SCALIS VENDING MACHINES
We develop and manufacture SCALIS automatic systems in-house as part of an automated weighing system. This allows us to customize the hardware, controls, driver identification, and communication with the scale precisely to meet the specific requirements of each operation.
SCALIS AUTOMATED WEIGHING, CONTROL, AND OPERATIONS DIGITIZATION
Thanks to the SCALIS system, every weighing operation is converted into a complete digital record that includes the vehicle, customer, material, order, photos, weighing slip, and data ready for reporting or export to an ERP system
- Areas
The Three Main Areas of SCALIS
SCALIS provides digital recording and processing of industrial weighing data. It collects data from road, bridge, belt, on-board, loading, or process scales and assigns it to a specific vehicle, customer, material, order, and operation.
The result is not just the weight itself, but a complete weighing record. This may include the initial weight, final weight, net weight, date and time of weighing, location of weighing, user, camera photos, notes, material, order number, and other operational data.
This record is ready for printing on an official form, for verification, for export to an ERP system, for inventory records, or for management reporting.
SCALIS actively manages technology and vehicle traffic on the premises. It can control barriers, traffic lights, external displays, self-service kiosks, RFID readers, QR/PIN terminals, cameras, license plate recognition systems, and other peripherals.
Based on the configured rules, the system determines whether a vehicle may enter the premises, proceed to the weigh station, go to the loading area, undergo an exit weigh-in, or leave the facility. This eliminates the need for operators to manually check each step, and the facility gains better control over traffic, safety, and vehicle sequencing.
Traffic control is particularly important in areas where a large number of trucks pass through daily, where traffic jams occur, where multiple types of materials are mixed, or where it is necessary to clearly separate the entry, loading, unloading, and exit points.
SCALIS links individual steps into a single automated workflow. Vehicle identification, order verification, material selection, weigh-in, loading, weigh-out, weigh ticket generation, photo storage, and data export can all take place without unnecessary manual data entry.
Automation reduces the error rate, speeds up vehicle processing, and ensures that all important data is generated directly during the process. Data is not entered retroactively, but is recorded the moment an event actually occurs.
The result is more transparent operations, less workload for operators, shorter time spent at the scale, better order tracking, and accurate data for accounting, dispatch, warehousing, and management.
Main Contribution
SCALIS brings order, control, and automation to the weighing process. Operations benefit from faster vehicle processing, less manual labor, more accurate data, better oversight of materials, and clear digital records for further processing.
For staff, it means easier work. For drivers, it means faster transit through the facility. For accounting, it means accurate records. For management, it means real-time data on operational performance. And for the company as a whole, it means better control over what comes in, what goes out, and what happens in between.
