The vehicle arrives at the weigh station, and the driver identifies themselves at the terminal using an RFID card, QR/EAN code, or other identification method, depending on the configuration. SCALIS automatically retrieves data about the vehicle, carrier, company, material, or order and assigns it to the specific weighing operation.
Once the weight has stabilized, the system records the initial weight and saves it in the log. The vehicle then proceeds to loading, unloading, or the next step in the process without unnecessary waiting and without having to manually transcribe the data.
When the driver returns to the scale for the second time, he or she identifies themselves again. SCALIS automatically links the first and second weigh-ins, calculates the net weight, and creates a complete weigh-in record. Depending on the settings, the system can print a weigh ticket, save the record in the SCALIS software, or send the data to a higher-level system.
The result is faster weighing, fewer errors, better inventory tracking, and greater control over vehicle traffic on the premises.
