Basic system for self-service weighing with an RFID or QR code reader
SCALIS AUTOMAT S is a basic self-service weighing terminal for facilities that want to speed up vehicle registration, reduce the workload on staff, and bring the weighing process under control. Upon arrival at the scale, the driver scans an RFID card or a QR/EAN code from a phone or document, and the system automatically retrieves the data needed for weighing.
The terminal can process information such as vehicle license plate numbers, company names, material types, and other operational data. During the first weighing, the data is recorded and saved. During the second weighing, the system completes the process and automatically calculates the net weight.
SCALIS AUTOMAT S is ideal as a first step toward weighing automation. It enables operations to process vehicles more quickly, reduces manual data entry, lowers the error rate, and provides clearer tracking of weigh tickets.

The driver pulls up to the scale with the vehicle and identifies himself at the terminal using an RFID card or a QR code. The system retrieves the associated data—such as the license plate number, company, or material—and records the first weighing.
When the vehicle returns, the process is repeated. SCALIS then combines the first and second weigh-in results, calculates the net weight, and saves the result in the records. Depending on the configuration, the system can print a weigh-in ticket or send the data to a higher-level system.
