Self-service weighing system with RFID, QR code reader, NFC, and intercom
SCALIS AUTOMAT M is a self-service weighing terminal designed for facilities that want to speed up vehicle weighing, reduce manual data entry, and still allow drivers to easily communicate with staff. The terminal is equipped with an RFID card reader, a QR/EAN code scanner, an NFC reader, and an intercom.
Upon arrival at the scale, the driver presents an RFID card, a QR code from their phone, or a document to the terminal. The system retrieves data about the vehicle, company, material, or order and records the first weight reading. During the second weighing, the process is repeated, and the software automatically calculates the net weight.
The SCALIS AUTOMAT M is suitable for facilities where a higher level of self-service is required than with the basic solution, but where the driver must still be able to communicate with the operator via an intercom. It is a practical solution for quarries, gravel pits, concrete plants, recycling yards, agricultural facilities, and manufacturing plants.

The driver pulls up to the scale and identifies himself at the terminal using an RFID card, QR/EAN code, or NFC. SCALIS reads the data associated with the card or code and records the first weight reading.
During the second weighing, the driver repeats the identification process. The software then matches the first and second weighings, calculates the net weight, and saves the result to the system. If the driver needs assistance, he or she can use the intercom to contact an operator.

FAQ
SCALIS AUTOMAT M is a self-service weighing terminal equipped with an RFID, QR/EAN, and NFC reader, as well as an intercom. It allows the driver to weigh the load without the need for constant supervision of the scale.
The driver identifies themselves using a card, a QR code, or NFC. The system reads the data, saves the weight, and automatically calculates the net weight during the second weighing.
The intercom allows the driver to communicate with the operator directly from the weighing station, for example, in the event of uncertainties, missing data, or the need to confirm the process.
The system can process data such as vehicle license plate numbers, company names, materials, orders, or other operational information, depending on the configuration.
Yes. The SCALIS AUTOMAT M can be equipped with a dockable printer for printing weighing slips.
The main benefits are faster weighing, lower error rates, less manual data entry, and better tracking of material movement through the scale.
It is suitable for quarries, gravel pits, concrete plants, recycling yards, agricultural facilities, warehouses, and manufacturing and logistics operations.
