SCALIS AUTOMAT L is an advanced self-service weighing terminal for facilities that want to automate vehicle weighing, speed up material handling, and reduce reliance on manual labor. The terminal is equipped with a UHF RFID reader, a QR/EAN scanner, an NFC reader, an intercom, and a display where the driver can select the material or type of operation.
The system is designed for facilities where trucks are weighed daily, material receipts and shipments are recorded, and suppliers, customers, or internal movements are tracked. SCALIS AUTOMAT L integrates weighing, vehicle identification, and digital record-keeping into a single seamless process.
Thanks to the self-service mode, the driver can complete the entire process directly at the weighing station. At the same time, the operator monitors the process via the SCALIS software and can communicate with the driver via intercom if necessary.

The vehicle arrives at the weighing station, and the driver identifies himself at the terminal using an RFID card, QR/EAN code, or NFC. SCALIS automatically retrieves data about the vehicle, carrier, shipment, or operation and assigns it to the specific weighing.
On the terminal display, the driver selects the material, type of operation, or another option depending on the facility’s settings. Once the weight has stabilized, the system records the first weighing and saves it to the log. The vehicle then proceeds to loading, unloading, or the next step in the process.
When the driver returns to the scale, he or she identifies themselves again. SCALIS automatically links the first and second weigh-ins, calculates the net weight, and creates a complete weigh-in record. Depending on the configuration, the system can print a weigh ticket, send the data to a host system, or make it available in the SCALIS software for further processing.
The result is faster weighing without unnecessary waiting, less manual data entry, a lower error rate, and accurate tracking of material movement.
